I can comment now xDI relaly love your sketch pages. I love how you draw tiny thumbs to figure out poses plus your notes on the page. I used to do that but now my sketch books look like I was relaly bored and unenthusiastic xDThe gift for your friend’s b-day is so sweet. The position of your arm around her is great, the weight and distance looks relaly good. The icecream one is too cute, love the expression and man, you’re so good at pony tails ;.; <3 The guy bending over looks like it would have been hard even with a ref! I think it looks fine. My fav is the hair brushing one because I love pictures of girls brushing their hair for some reason lol. I love how her hair is so long she pulls it to the front of her. I’ve had REALLY short hair most of my life so I’ve never had to do that xDYou’re so good at realistic anatomy, Hikari <3

Thanks Aaron! Very kind of you to say so. Things are just bear bones so now the process of putintg some meat on the bones! I did want to just slap something together just so it was there. As I add new information I really want it to be meaningful, helpful and significant. I would love to write about anything you are interested in. Let me know! If you haven’t get on the email list. I did a lot of work to make it quality. Every time I write you will get a quality email about it.

Andrew, it’s great that people who are much beettr-read than me comment on my posts! My ideas of Macbeth’s motivation principally come from productions which have, inevitably, been influenced by Freud (which I haven’t actually read). But although Freud might have articulated the idea of the subconscious I don’t believe he invented it, and Kenneth Muir’s intro to the Arden Edition quotes two contemporary sources, James I, who wrote that the devil allures persons even by these three passions that are within ourselves , and George Giffard suggested that the power of divels is in the hearts of men, as to harden the heart, to blind the eyes of the mind, and to inflame them unto wrath, malice, envie, and cruell murthers . And at 1.3.133 Macbeth, in an aside, talks of murder before we even meet Lady Macbeth, but the question of who’s responsible for Macbeth’s actions is one that will be argued over for as long as people read and perform the play!
